Toyo Light Co., Ltd. has begun offering FRP regeneration (Repair), one of the "5R" environmental initiatives, for FRP 6-inch cores, 11-inch cores, and other process cores.

FRP Core Regeneration (Repair) – Sustainable & Cost-Effective Solution
Repair (Recycling) extends the lifespan of FRP cores by refurbishing them instead of replacing them.
Surface defects such as scratches, chips, and cracks are fully removed, and a new surface layer is applied, allowing the core to be regenerated and reused.
Additionally, for damaged edges prone to chipping or cracking, the core can be trimmed to a shorter length and reused, ensuring continued functionality.
